FUNKY SEOMRA  -  Fund Raising Danceathon Thurs March 29^th

The children get a 5 line sponsorship card in order to raise money for a specific initiative. They then spend time on Thursday dancing in the school hall.

METNS Sponsored Walk                        Wed  May 2^nd

Children will again be given a 5 line sponsorship card and will walk an age appropriate distance on the day. Parent volunteers may be sought to help marshal the event.

OPEN DAY FOR NEW JUNIOR INFANTS                    Friday May 4th

On this day the existing junior infants go home earlier than normal in order to facilitate the new junior infants spending time in their soon to be classroom. Details of arrangements will be sent home closer to the time.

CULTURE NIGHT – FOODS OF THE WORLD                          Sat May 26^th

This is an adult only social event. Last year was the 1^st year we held it in the school and it was a great success. Food is provided and it is a bring your own beverages set up. All very welcome, especially new parents to the school.

SUMMER FAIR                                                            Sun June 17^TH

On Father’s Day again this year, the Fair is a fun filled family day for the entire METNS community. Food, drinks, games, entertainment and all sorts all in aid of our school.

SPREAGADH -  2^nd Class Ceremony                    Mon  June 18th

To celebrate the move from the junior cycle to the senior cycle of their primary school education (& the physical move to upstairs) 2^nd class and their parents/guardians will have a small ceremony first thing in the morning to mark this event. Refreshments will be provided after the event.
